Spring Time

Sunday, April 13, 2014

SHIRT: American Apparel   JEANS: Old Navy   SHOES: Converse   BAG: Louis Vuitton (Big Sister's) NECKLACES: Forever 21   BLAZER: Nordstrom

Hey guys, sorry that it has been a long time since I last posted, I have been sick the past couple weeks and I just had Spring Break, so I went to visit my aunt in Salt Lake City. As we are getting ready for spring to come; I have come up with some outfits that are perfect for spring. They are bright and fun but still modest. For this outfit I chose a more comfy look; with the boyfriend jeans and gray tank it was a pretty laid back look. When I added the black blazer it gave the look a professional feel to it. Now I love my color and this time it brought together the whole look. By adding the stacked blue necklaces and the sea foam blue converse it made the look stand out for spring.
Happy Spring everyone!

JACKET: Topshop   SHIRT: American Apparel   LEGGINGS: American Apparel   SHOES: Supra Vaider   BEANIE: Forever21   BAG: Marc Jacobs

I had so much fun doing this shoot! Its fun sometimes to put on a pair of faux leather leggings, a beanie and some kicks to help you feel some serious girl power. This beanie is slowly becoming one of my favorites and the best part is that it was only two dollars at Forever21! It adds a very much needed pop of color to the look and makes for a great focal point. Too bad I'm not allowed to wear hats at school! Thanks everyone for continuing to check out my blog. It means a lot! I currently have a fractured ankle so I haven't been taking an photos but I hope to be healed soon! I hope you are having a great winter so far!

A Little Pop of Pink

BLAZER: Forever21   JEANS: Old Navy   SHOES: Toms   BAG: 3.1 Phillip Lim   NECKLACES: Forever21

Fashion should be fun. Its all about self expression and creativity. One of my favorite things to do is dress my mood. Its so easy to get stuck in a jeans and sweatshirt rut especially as a teen but I always feel more positive about life when I throw on a bright blazer, a pair of booties and some amazing pieces of costume jewelry! These booties from Toms are literally the most comfortable pair of booties EVER and probably the closest thing to actual heels you will see me wear. I paired this hot pink blazer with more casual distressed boyfriend jeans and my sister allowed me to borrow her amazing bag from 3.1 Phillip Lim :) I wish I could say that I was planning on going somewhere more fabulous than school or the store but like I said, its always better to have fun with fashion!

HAT: American Apparel  JEANS: Gap   BOOTS: MIA   WHITE-TEE: American Apparel   CARDIGAN: H&M

I love this look because it only uses a few simple pieces.  I added light brown boots to true blue jeans and a gray cardigan, giving it a needed dash of color. When I added the colorful owl as my main accessory, it gave this look a nice touch of color and a little bit of shine. Adding the hat gives off a more causal laid back feel that still stands out.

The Uniform

COAT: Topshop   SHIRT: American Apparel   SCARF: Nordstrom BP   JEANS: Gap   BOOTS: Steve Madden   BAG: Longchanp

Sometimes living in cloudy, gloomy, Washington can cause one to revert back to the old faithful PNW uniform of boots, jeans and a tee shirt. (Sometimes you just can't help it!) For those days when you're not really feeling super chic but still want to add a little something my go-to is a scarf in an unexpected color or pattern. Because you wear scarves so close to your face, its an eye catching item that will make any blah outfit shine through the clouds! Thanks for reading and all the support!
